Coach Ricky Ramirez

Coach Ricky believes in building strong fundamentals and teaching the game the right way. His coaching style focuses on developing proper mechanics in throwing, hitting, fielding, and catching while also helping players understand the mental side of baseball.

He creates a positive but disciplined environment where players are encouraged to work hard, stay focused, and take pride in their improvement. Coach Ricky emphasizes repetition, attention to detail, and game-like training so athletes can build confidence and perform under pressure.

With his background in baseball instruction and strength and conditioning, he also works to improve each athlete’s overall athletic ability—helping players become stronger, faster, and more prepared to compete at higher levels.

Coach Ricky Ramirez has been coaching the game of baseball for over ten years and has worked with players at nearly every level—from T-ball beginners to competitive travel ball athletes, high school players, and college players.

He previously served as a high school varsity coach from 2014 to 2016 and has extensive experience developing youth players through travel ball and Little League programs. Coach Ricky has coached travel baseball from 2019 to present and worked with Little League players ages 8–10 from 2016 to present.

In addition to team coaching, he has been providing private baseball instruction since 2015, helping athletes develop their skills in hitting, catching, infield play, and overall baseball fundamentals.

Coach Ricky is also certified in baseball-specific strength and conditioning, allowing him to help players build the strength, mobility, and athleticism needed to perform at their best on the field.

Coach Ricky Ramirez was fortunate to be trained by outstanding and professional coaches throughout his playing career, beginning at the young age of 10. The mentorship he received during his development, combined with his passion for continuously improving as a coach, allows him to provide a high level of instruction to every athlete he works with.

As a player, Coach Ricky was a four-year high school varsity athlete and earned All-League honors for three consecutive years (2009–2012). In 2010, he was also recognized with All-CIF honors, highlighting his performance and impact on the field.

Following his high school career, Coach Ricky continued playing competitively, including time in independent baseball, further developing his understanding of the game at a high level. He has also remained active in the sport by competing in men’s league baseball in Southern California since 2022, allowing him to stay connected to the game while continuing to refine his coaching knowledge and training methods.

Coach Ricky also enjoys working with young pitchers, focusing on strong fundamentals and proper mechanics. He takes pride in teaching players to master every aspect of the game—from throwing, hitting, and catching mechanics to the mental side of baseball.
