Welcome to MADE Baseball! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the relationship between MADE Baseball, its clients, and its independent contractor coaches. By using our platform, engaging in lessons, or providing coaching services, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.
SECTION 1: TERMS FOR CLIENTS
1. Services Overview
MADE Baseball connects clients with independent baseball coaches for private lessons and group training sessions.
Key Service Details:
•MADE Baseball carefully selects coaches through interviews, experience verification, and comprehensive background checks conducted by Checkr.
•Coaches operate as independent contractors and are solely responsible for executing lessons, including safety and adherence to MADE Baseball standards.
•Lessons are conducted at public parks or other agreed-upon locations.
By booking lessons through MADE Baseball, you acknowledge that coaches are independent contractors and not employees of MADE Baseball. MADE Baseball serves solely as a platform to facilitate bookings, payments, and communication.
2. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
Baseball training involves inherent risks. By participating in MADE Baseball programs, clients agree to the following:
•Acknowledgment of Risk: Activities involving baseball may result in injuries, including being struck by equipment, physical strain, or environmental factors.
•Assumption of Risk: Clients voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
•Liability Waiver: Clients waive the right to hold MADE Baseball, its coaches, or affiliates liable for injuries, property damage, or losses, including those caused by negligence.
3. Booking Process
Booking lessons through MADE Baseball is easy:
1.Browse available coaches based on location, availability, and bios.
2.Complete the required intake form, acknowledging our Liability Waiver, Policies, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.
3.Submit payment to confirm your booking.
4.Your coach will contact you within 24 hours to confirm lesson details.

4. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Refunds
Scheduling Policies:
•Lessons must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
•Clients can schedule lessons up to 90 days ahead.
Cancellation Policy:
•Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance through the scheduling system.
•Cancellations within 24 hours result in forfeiture of the session.
Refunds:
Refunds are generally not provided except in these cases:
•The first lesson in a package is unsatisfactory (refund applies to unused lessons).
•A coach cannot fulfill a session, and no rescheduling works for the client.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the missed session.
5. Payments
•Payment Process: Payment is required at booking.
•Lesson Packages: Packages expire 12 months from the purchase date.
•Gift Certificates: Gift certificates are valid for 3 years, transferable upon request, but non-refundable.
6. Weather Policy
Lessons may be canceled due to severe weather (lightning, heavy rain, extreme heat). Coaches will notify clients promptly, and canceled sessions can be rescheduled at no extra cost.
7. Non-Solicitation Policy
Clients agree not to:
•Solicit MADE Baseball coaches for private lessons outside the platform.
•Negotiate reduced rates or alternative arrangements.
Violations may result in termination of services and legal action.
SECTION 2: TERMS FOR COACHES
1. Independent Contractor Relationship
Coaches are independent contractors, not employees.
Key Terms:
•Coaches manage their schedules and conduct lessons with professionalism.
•Coaches are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance with local laws.
2. Responsibilities of Coaches
Coaches must:
•Deliver lessons aligned with MADE Baseball’s standards.
•Communicate with clients promptly for bookings and rescheduling.
•Maintain safety and proper equipment.
Failure to meet these standards may result in termination.
3. Payments
•Coaches are paid per session and must provide accurate payment information.
•MADE Baseball may withhold payments for canceled sessions due to negligence or substantiated complaints.
4. Non-Solicitation and Non-Compete Clause
To protect MADE Baseball’s interests:
•Coaches cannot solicit MADE Baseball clients for private lessons outside the platform during their engagement or for two years after termination.
•Coaches cannot establish or promote a competing service within 50 miles of MADE Baseball’s operating areas for two years.
5. Confidentiality
Coaches must not disclose:
•Client contact information.
•MADE Baseball’s proprietary training methods or business strategies.
6. Insurance
Coaches must have their own liability insurance or be covered under MADE Baseball’s policy for lessons booked through the platform.
7. Background Checks
All coaches consent to background checks conducted by Checkr. MADE Baseball may terminate the relationship based on results.
SECTION 3: GENERAL TERMS FOR ALL USERS
1. Arbitration Clause
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Savannah, GA, or virtually, as agreed by both parties.
2. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting personal data. See the Privacy Policy for details on data collection, use, and storage.
3. Modifications to Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of MADE Baseball signifies agreement to updated terms.
