1. Information Collected
We collect information you provide when you:
Book or use services: Name, email address, phone number; billing address and payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers); scheduling preferences, booking history, and session notes.
Create an account: Account credentials and profile information.
Participate as a player: Player name, age, and contact information (when provided by parent/guardian); session history and preferences.
Apply as a coach: Professional background, availability, credentials, and profile information; payout and verification information (via Stripe Connect).
Use our website: IP address, browser type, device information; cookies and similar technologies.
Contact us: Correspondence with support, feedback, and survey responses.
2. How Information Is Used
We use your information to: process bookings, payments, and scheduling; communicate with you about sessions, changes, cancellations, and support; operate and improve our services; comply with legal obligations; send marketing communications (where you have opted in; see Section 7).
3. Stripe & Acuity Processing
Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe collects and processes payment information according to its Privacy Policy. We receive transaction status and limited identifiers; we do not store full credit card numbers.
Acuity Scheduling: Booking and scheduling. Acuity processes appointment data according to its Privacy Policy. We use this data to manage sessions and communicate with you.
4. Children's Data Considerations (COPPA Awareness)
MADE Baseball serves youth athletes. When a parent or guardian books a session for a minor, we collect the child's name, age, and related information solely to provide coaching services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data by contacting us at support@madebaseball.com.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and protect your account credentials.
6. Data Retention
We retain data as long as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Payment and booking records are typically retained for several years for accounting and legal purposes.
7. Marketing Communications
We may send promotional emails, newsletters, or text messages about camps, events, and offers. You can opt out by: clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email; replying STOP to promotional texts; or contacting us at support@madebaseball.com. Transactional messages (booking confirmations, reschedule reminders, support responses) are not marketing and may still be sent.
8. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only when necessary to process payments (Stripe), manage scheduling (Acuity), host our website, or comply with legal obligations.
9. Coach Applicant and Coach Data
If you apply to coach with MADE or onboard as a coach, we may collect and process your application and onboarding information, including professional experience, availability, profile details, certifications, interview notes, communications, payout onboarding and tax verification details (through Stripe Connect), and operational performance records.
We use coach data to review applications, verify eligibility, onboard coaches, process payouts, manage scheduling and client support, maintain service quality and safety standards, and comply with legal and accounting obligations. We may retain coach application and payout/compliance records for as long as needed for these business and legal purposes.
10. User Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@madebaseball.com. Residents of certain states (e.g., California, Virginia, Colorado) may have additional rights under applicable law.
