Short Bio:
My name is Coach Ricky Ramirez and I am a professional baseball coach specializing in working with hitters, catchers, and infielders. I love helping my athletes improve their game along with their strength and conditioning as well, as I am a certified personal trainer also.
I also love working with young pitchers on the basics. I pride myself in teaching my players to master their baseball mechanics from throwing to hitting to catching to thinking mechanics. I love what I do and I look forward to working with you!

Playing Experience:
I was fortunate to be able to be coached by amazing and professional coaches through out my playing career since the young age of 10. The tutelage from my mentors over my years along with my passion to improve my coaching ability serves to help me provide the highest level of instruction to the athletes I work with.
- High school varsity 4 years
- All league (3 years, 2009-2012)
- All CIF (2012)
- Over 5 years of men’s league in Southern California(2016-present)
A lesson with me:
A lesson with me will always be fun and educational. During each lesson I have the opportunity to give I learn something new and I work to apply it towards my overall coaching ability so I can reach a wide variety of players with different ages, personalities, and learning styles.
During private baseball lessons with me you will always perform a nice dynamic warmup to not only get your blood flowing and stretched out but also to actually learn how to properly move your body in baseball specific ways(ie: explosive first step, cross over step, catcher’s pop, etc). I can work with any position and provide value, but my heart is in working with catchers who love the game and want to get after it and be pushed. I always adjust my intensity as a teacher and coach relative to what my player needs.
My favorite motivational quote:
“It’s really hard to beat someone who NEVER quits.”
