As a coach, I have always had a challenging time finding local batting cages to use in order to train my players. They are either too far, too expensive, or too booked out. So often I would drive through a neighborhood and see a batting cage in a backyard and think, “Man, I wish I could just go knock on this person’s door and see if I might be able to offer to pay them to rent their batting cage.” Yeah…that would be pretty random and awkward. “How can I solve this problem?” I’ve always thought.
Well, corona virus forced me to step away from the field for a while and burrow into a nerd cave of web development. I don’t particularly like web development, but I do like creating solutions for things and I love to build stuff that helps make people’s lives a bit easier.
Well guys, I am excited to introduce to you that solution – CageList.com! I created CageList in order to help local baseball and softball players, coaches, and families have a platform to find places to train and play the game we all love. I’m very excited about it and we have already seen a great deal of growth in our initial launch with over 50 new listings of batting cage owners around the country listing their batting cages!
