How often should my child take baseball lessons?
Most players see the best results with consistent weekly lessons. One lesson per week is the starting point Coach Isaac Hess gives parents, and it is where most families should begin.
Players who love the game, are self motivated and want to reach a high level of competition may want more. Coach Isaac covers this in his blog post on how many lessons a son should do per week.
For a beginner, the lessons are only part of the picture. Coach Isaac suggests playing catch at home two or three times a week, and letting the player decide how dedicated he wants to be. If a player is dialed in, takes care of his gear and is ready early, that shows he is ready for more.
You can book one lesson at a time, or book several in advance and prepay them on CageList if you want a standing weekly routine. Lessons are one hour and $120.
